World Globes – Cleaning the Globe

Cleaning your world globe can be as simple as wiping it with a soft cloth. World globes are frequently touched and turned by sticky little fingers, so there are often times that the globe will need more actual cleaning. Before you grab a soapy cloth and scrub any country right off of the globe, stop and read the instructions that came with the globe. Some world globes are made of two halves of cardboard with glossy paper, so a lot of water can be a pretty dangerous idea. Once water gets inside of your globe, you might find yourself dealing with a rotten from the inside out item that will have to be replaced.
