When there is a scratch on the kitchen table, it is possible to sand out the scratch and do a minor touch up without any major work. However, if the scratch is too big or is too deep, then it might take a lot more work to restore the surface of the kitchen table. If there is a notable groove for instance, you may have to use filler material, sanded out to be even and then refinished to blend in with the rest of the table’s surface. The larger or deeper that the groove might be, the more labor intensive the repair will be. If it takes up too much of the table top’s area, you might have to refinish the whole surface so that it is even and still looks good.
